Fontburn Reservoir

Imagine you are away from everything.

Listen to the birdsong.

Waves lapping against the shore.

Look out across a landscape and feel the wind in your face.

Time and space to think and dream.

A sense of freedom.

Research has shown that there is a link between nature and well-being

Being outdoors in a natural environment can lower your blood pressure and reduce stress. Edward Wilson, a Harvard biologist, looked at how we connect with nature and expanded the concept of biophilia (a love of life or living systems) which he explained as ‘the connection that human beings subconsciously seek with the rest of life’. Being in nature opens up your mind to possibilities.

You can decide where to explore a coaching conversation in nature

Beside the sea? In a wood or forest? A dramatic landscape? Or on top of a hill?

We can ‘walk and talk’ together or you can just sit and take in your surroundings.

It’s your choice.

If the weather’s a problem, we can bring nature indoors in a range of ways. But to tell you how would diminish the experience. (You’ll be surprised!)

Coaching in Nature is suitable for both Personal and Executive Coaching sessions
